We've launched a new portfolio site for Sum People, a creative digital agency with a diverse body of project work to present.
The site has two audiences. Prospective clients want to find relevant work quickly — filtering by industry, service, or technology to get a read on capabilities. Prospective hires want to understand the culture and meet the people behind the projects. The site had to do both.
We built it on Craft CMS with portfolio filtering across several axes. Case studies follow a consistent structure, but each has room for its own visual treatment rather than being forced into a single template. With over 100 projects featured, the filtering is load-bearing rather than decorative.
The team section sits alongside the work, putting the people who made it in view. The content model lets the Sum People team publish new case studies and refresh the portfolio as the practice evolves, without developer involvement for routine updates.
Emma is Operations Director at Mutual, leading client services and overseeing the ongoing management and optimisation of client websites. With over 20 years of agency experience and CIM marketing qualifications, she brings both strategic grounding and practical depth to digital performance.
