DigitalOcean is upfront about pricing but quieter on sustainability. This is what we've been able to piece together about which of their data centres run on renewable energy — based on support tickets, community threads, and a bit of joining-the-dots. For anything definitive, ask DigitalOcean directly.

Facility: Equinix Status:Green Equinix achieved 100% renewable energy coverage in 2018.

🇺🇸 NYC2 & NYC3 (New York City)

Facility: Digital Realty Status:Not Yet Green Currently operating at approximately 30% renewable energy, though targeting 100%.

🇺🇸 SFO1 & SFO2 (San Francisco)

Facility: Digital Realty Status:Not Yet Green Same renewable energy profile as NYC facilities.

🇳🇱 AMS2 & AMS3 (Amsterdam)

Facility: Equinix Status:Green Equinix achieved 100% renewable coverage in 2018.

🇸🇬 SGP1 (Singapore)

Facility: Equinix Status:Green

🇬🇧 LON1 (London)

Facility: Equinix Status:Green

🇩🇪 FRA1 (Frankfurt)

Facility: Interxion Status:Green "100% of their energy comes from renewable sources."

Facility: NTT Communications Status: ⚠️ Partial Green Utilizes wind power but lacks 100% renewable verification.
